Why do I loose the sound from my turn signals when I have SiriusXM selected as my source?

This condition occurs when the X009-GM and X009-GM2 are installed into 2007-2013 GM Trucks, 2007-2014 GM SUVs and the OEM SiriusXM tuner is retained. In these cases if you have SiriusXM selected as your source you will not hear any sound from the turn signals due to the audio path through the iDatalink Maestro module being shared by the OEM SiriusXM tuner and the chimes, turn signals, warning sounds.

An alternative is to use an aftermarket SiriusXM tuner (SXV-200/300) in place of the OEM SiriusXM tuner and retain turn signal sounds when SiriusXM is selected as the source.
