Cannot control DVD player properly

1.    DVD has not been set in the setup menu:

       Ensure DVD is ON in HDMI SETUP menu

2.    HDMI box has not been set in the SETUP menu:

       Ensure DVD is ON in HDMI SETUP menu and remote loop was cut on wire harness
